Yeah, plants too. The smaller ones don't talk much, but the old sequoia tree always has a story if I'm down.
I lived in the forest in the mountains with Grandpa until he died two seasonal cycles ago. Now its just me and the animals. [He doesn't sound as broken up about his grandpa's death as you might expect. He misses him, obviously, but he's not showing much of it to her.]
