Fourth Antic :: [Text/Action for Route 35]

[text]

[Good evening, people far and wide! A text will be flying at the network within the hour from an inquiring kid.]

I got a question--mostly for people who've really been around this place for a bit, but any opinion would be good for now.

Is Goldenrod City this place's Magnum Opus? Seems like a place as big as this seems to be compensating for anything else--are there any other sights to see in this place here, or is Goldenrod really the best they got?

[action]

[It's another fairly typical evening for Peacock on Route 35 tonight--most of the team are out and pretty much training up a storm over there, and Peacock seems to trust them enough to know their limits.

...She, on the other hand, is using Bo Peep as a pillow while concentrating really hard on playing with...something on the gear. Peacock managed to find out how to play games, and she's playing Asteroid. ...Or at least trying to. She's not doing too badly, but she keeps trying to beat her current high score and keeps on getting shot at. It's bringing out the competitive streak.

Bo Peep's really just trying to deal with being a sheepy pillow here, but company would probably be appreciated--something to put that training into action.]

Third Antic :: [Action in Route 34/Video]

[You're traveling through a dimension.

A dimension of not only sight--which at this moment is blinding white light--and sound--which was previously of many 'karp karp karp karp' and the sound of fainting Pokemon--but of mind.

A journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination.

That's a signpost up ahead: your next stop, the Evolution Zone!

...No, but really. Ladies and gentlemen of Johto, and those who happen to be on Route 34, you may or may not have been just in time to experience the wonder that a certain avian girl has felt when she watches her useless flopping fish evolve into a giant serpent of unbridled awesome. Peacock is just standing there; for once in her life, she's actually left speechless. Such awe...such amazingness!

...If you happen to come after that, Peacock's testing her new friend out on the wildlife of Route 34. It's...not going to end well for the Pokemon on the Route.]

[However, this is where the video comes in! It starts right in the middle of a very ferocious Gyarados attacking whatever she can in sight. The view shifts to Peacock, who looks incredibly pleased with these results.]

You know, I gotta say! For a useless little fish, what she turns into is pretty damn useful! Kinda amazin' in her own way; she might only have a face a mother could love, but she certainly makes all the work worthwhile!

[The camera goes back to ol' Betty--who appears to be having only minimal trouble with the Mareep in front of her--Peacock seems to sigh with a happy tone.]

So, so worthwhile...ah, I could get used to this if all of these Pokemon got powerful like that!

[There's a bit of smoke that comes in front of the screen--Peacock's had a cigar out for a bit, but she's going back to take a puff out of it. Before the feed ends, what looks like a Poke Ball is thrown at the currently fainted Mareep. Either way, there is going to be no rest for the wicked tonight...]
