First Antic :: [Audio/Action in Rocket HQ]

--and that's why I think whoever designed this is...ah, would ya look at that! Rantin' to it works! [The voice on this connection is pretty young sounding, if a little more like a kid than a teenager.]
Well, glad to see this thing finally wants to work! Whoever designed this is a complete maroon, but I already ranted about that.
Question for all'a ya! Don't suppose these creatures comes with a translator, do they? Havin' a hard time attempting to understand mine, and I was wonderin' if anyone had a solution for that this side of Albuquerque.
...And if there's a place to get some cigars and snacks--it'd definitely be a perk right now!
[Action: Goldenrod (Rocket HQ)]
[Once that feeds over with, Peacock turns the PokeConnect off and goes back to what she was doing before; exploring with a giant metal bird! This place was certainly interesting; looked like it had more to it than all of the labs put together, and that in itself could be an achievement! Avery just followed along to make sure she wasn't going to do anything too stupid...
So, Peacock will be exploring the entire HQ of her own accord, exploring every place she's allowed in! ...And probably a few that she isn't allowed in with Avery squawking behind her, let's be honest. She'd rather not be caught per se, but the more the merrier right?]

Hey, watch where you're going!
[You don't mind if Ripto eyes that bird suspiciously, do you? Of course you don't. It's an interesting design, sure, but that thing could easily slice up this new, fleshy body of his...!]
And would it kill you to put that monstrosity away?
[ACTION]
You can walk around; we surely can't be takin' up that much space! [Peacock says this with a grin on her face. She doesn't mind him eying the bird though.]
I can't put him away, though. Sorry about that! [...Yeah, she does not sound sorry at all.] He keeps the complainers in line! Don't ya, Avery?
[Why yes he does! Or he attempts to, at least. Still, he's just looking at Ripto. Do all of you humans come in tiny?]
no subject
[Seriously, look at that thing! It's a giant!
5'7" in comparison to 4'10"...]So, am I to assume you've been here for awhile, if you're parading around that bird like that?
no subject
[Yeah, you just get a ':P' for your effort, Ripto. Oh sorry, were you trying to say something there?]
Nah, just arrived two weeks ago. If ya consider that a while, then sure! I just like havin' my pride and joy out here. [...Well, he isn't really her pride and joy, at least not yet. These creatures won't replace the gang in her heart...!]

[video] Don't feel obligated to have Peacock switch or anything - Jade's just most used to video!
I don't know about cigars, but most towns have at least a few shops where you can buy snacks!
[Audio] That's perfectly fine~
[Peacock pauses when the bit about the cigars is said; aw man, for real? These guys in Johto were stiff if they didn't have any here!] Well...least they got snacks! I'd 've been lookin' for the next ticket back to Lab 8 if they didn't!
[Well, let's just keep on the bright side for a second here. Won't do good to do otherwise!]
[Video] Okay, cool. :3
[There probably are; they're just not something Jade would ever be looking for.] I'm guessing Lab 8 is where you're originally from?
[Audio]
[She perks when Jade says that though! Let's...get off the subject of the fact that Psychic Pokemon are officially creepy!]Yeah! It's my home, if you can believe it. Wouldn't trade it for anywhere in the world!

[AUDIO]
I don't believe there's any translators here. For speaking with your Pokémon, that is. It seems that everyone understands each other regardless of what language they originally spoke. So in a sense, I suppose we all have built-in translators here! Unless Johto has simply decided that we all need to speak the same language and altered our brains. I really wouldn't be surprised at this point.
[Oh right, there was a point to all this, wasn't there?]
Figuring out just what your Pokémon are saying could be difficult. Very difficult. Ah, but it would be worth it in the end! Imagine - a universal device that allows you to communicate with your Pokémon fully! To understand exactly what they're saying! It would be magnificent.
[Yeah, sorry Peacock. He's off in his own little world now.]
[AUDIO]
The first bit wasn't exactly what I was askin' for, but it ain't somethin' I'll doubt either. So Johto's just one big assimilation plot, then? Sounds like the plot of some sorta video game. [Still, that second bit had some points! Good job, Wheatley, you made sense!]
A translatin' device would be pretty neat, though! Damn, it'd be cool to see whether they actually on a higher level of thinking! It'd make for an interestin' bunch of conversation partners. [That seems to genuinely interest her. Seriously, that'd be pretty awesome!]
[AUDIO]
[...What was that? You have no idea what Wheatley's talking about? That's alright, he'll move away from whatever it is he's going on about now.]
Ah, right! I'm Wheatley, pleased to meet you! Are you a new arrival here? Oh, I've never actually spoken to one; I know this must seem incredibly odd. Hopefully you were already human and didn't wake up in a body like that - I can tell you just how horrible an experience that was!
[AUDIO -> Private Audio]
[Give her a second here, how do those private filters wo--oh, there we go! Wouldn't want to totally give herself away, especially if he's working with her.]
I got here about two weeks ago, if ya want to be precise! Wasn't totally human until I got here. [But that's not the point; you mentioned something of interest, Wheatley.]
Now, ya mentioned a lab, right? [If anything, she doesn't sound like she's suspicious; no, this is actually pretty interesting! If this place had a lab...]
Wouldn't happen to know where I could observe, would ya? Sounds like a point of interest in this place!

[Because can't everyone talk to animals?]
[Audio]
[She's definitely condesending; he must be bluffing in her view, unless he lives here or something like that. Still, Peacock's actually interested in finding out...]
I can't understand all the sounds they make yet, but can't you just talk with them in their head without making sounds? You don't need to know their calls to do that.
[Audio]
You tryin' to tell me you're a telepath with these creatures? I didn't think that something like that was possible! [She did share a link with the Argus and Avery system back home, but it's nothing compared to actually sentient creatures...]

... and alarmingly I actually do know where to find cigars and snacks. Though the cigars are a bit expensive.
[Audio]
So they do sell 'em! How expensive are we talkin' here? [Name that price, man. As long as she has those, she will be golden here.]
Mmm, well... I saw a bunch of different brands, but the kind I bought for a friend were about 5000p? I saw some upwards of 8000p though... I had no idea there was such a variety when I found them.

That was magnificent, Coulomb. The energy reading is a new record!
[[....said Electrode, however, is smoking, twitching and looks dead-behind-the-eyes. Using Explosion constantly will do that to a pokemon, but....details, details-
....oh, hello there]]
I do hope you're not going to ask me to keep it down. There is science being done.
[action]
Peacock at least hears the Explosion, before going off in the direction of where it came from. When she gets there, she makes no attempt at being hidden; what Kato did just sounded like he lit off a bomb and didn't afraid of anything.
Still! Peacock grins when she's noticed; she didn't wanna distract from anymore 'science', if that's what Team Rocket's refering to it now, was getting done.]
Not at all! If anythin', I was wonderin' if that was the highest volume ya had. [You don't mind her just staring at that Electrode, do you? Well, it definitely looked big enough to cause some mayhem...]
[action]
[[He's not, really, if that smirk is any indication; with a snap of his fingers, a low rumble starts.]]
I maybe be able make things a little louder.
[[And with a low growl, the head of his Steelix appears through a doorway to the right; she's still young so she technically fits in the open space of the lab, but she's still a rather imposing sight.]]
Would you like to see her perform that little trick? You may have to block your ears.
[action]
[action] i am so sorry about this 4th wall really threw out my tags orz
[action] No worries at all! I can totally understand since it kinda did the same thing. lD;

Just asking.
[Audio]
If they do, they haven't brought 'em to the general public yet.
[Audio]
Pokemon are basically like really smart animals.
Stick around 'em long enough and you won't need a translator.
